Pineapple Coffee, anyone?

Ever since I saw Bonnie's pineapple blossom quilt, I have been itching to try that block. Especially when I found out it was not paper pieced! Tonight I cut down all my coffee fabric scraps into the required sizes. After I got the DD into bed, I decided to sew one block, just to see how it will look. I love it! I'm not sure how far my scraps will go, but I hopefully I'll get a lap sized quilt out of it.

In case Nines is getting a chance to read this at her parents, I miss being able to talk to you! I know your parents appreciate having you there to help! Give your dad a hug for me!

Love it. You could always throw some non-coffee scraps in to make it go farther... More of the deep dark chocolatey colors. Ooh coffee and chocolate. mmmm mocha.

You're hooked...on coffee, that is! I knew it! wooohooooo!

Love your block, Sarah. It's rich and luscious...I like Tonya's idea to mix a few chocolately browns to make it go further.

Come sew with me! We'll enjoy your coffee together! ;-)

That is very pretty. Love the chocolate colors together...they make a nice harmony of color and pattern.
