Look, Judy, I used it!

Remember back in the first part of February when Judy challenged us to go ahead and use some treasured piece of fabric? I decided it was time to use my hand dyed fabrics that I had been treasuring since last summer. This afternoon I got the last border put on this project. I like it! What do you think? What did you do with your treasured fabric?

I think, "Oh my gosh! I have those same hand-dyes! I could do that!" LOL - and I think it's a beautiful way to show them off. WTG!!

Great use of your treasured hand-dyes. I am making chickens with some of my treasured fabrics.

What a way to showcase some priceless works, Sarah! Way to go.

And the border? Perfect! Just enough!

Bet you have some nubbins from this project...that perhaps could be used for some...postcards?!

That is a wonderful quilt. I especially like the flying geese in the border. Great job

Doesn't it make you feel good to be finally using up fabric that was just too good to cut up? Great job!

I think you have a lovely quilt there! A job well done. (I hate piecing triangles, so I am in awe right now...)
I find that once I cut up my pretty fabrics (even though it is sooooooooo hard to do) I appreciate that I did so I can enjoy them in use, not sitting on a shelf somewhere.
