Almost there!

Yesterday afternoon I sat down for about an hour and worked on the borders for this quilt. As you can see I put a 2 inch brown border all the way around. Then on the top and bottom I put the rail fence border. Now I am rethinking putting the rail fence on the side too. The width of the quilt doesn't really need another 9 inches. So I am contemplating putting a thin pink border down the sides and then the wider brown border all the way around. Are you confused yet?

I am loving this quilt! Thanks again, Bonnie, for the wonderful pattern!

Your pineapple blossom looks awesome! I love pink and brown. I like the thin pink on the sides idea.

This pineapple blossom is really pretty with the pink and the brown. I really like the blue quilt too. It is so soothing.

Mmmm, the more I see a pink and brown quilt, the more I want to a=make one. This is lovely! I'm afraid I'd be craving chocolate the whole time I'd be sewing though!

What a fun quilt! I love the colors. What is the quilt hanging from? Looks interesting.

It is beautiful! I think the railfence border gives it a bit of character, but if it is bugging you - then change it! Nothing a little seam ripping won't fix - as my Nana used to say... "sewing and ripping"... I for one like it though!

Cheers!

That's one of the prettiest pink and brown quilts I've ever seen. Stunning!

I've been collecting pink and browns forever but have not been able to settle on a quilt pattern. One day - Sigh!

What a striking quilt - one of the few pink and brown ones I like a LOT! And nothing says that the quilt needs to be symmetrical in it's design. Do what feels right!
