I managed to get the baby quilt quilted and bound last week in time for the shower on Sunday. The mommy-to-be loved it - along with everyone else in the room. Several future moms said that they wanted a quilt just like it when their time comes! I wanted to keep it for myself! I love the blue and brown together. Very rich looking!Tonight is meet the teacher night at the kid's school. We already know both of their teachers. Ian has Maddie's first grade teacher - so I am very happy! And Maddie has a girl from church for her third grade teacher. Maddie LOVES Miss Nicole - so it should be a good year. Classes start on Thursday - at which time I am hoping to retrieve my house from it current state of filth! I have not managed to keep ahead of the mess this summer. Maybe with the kids gone for 7 hours each day I can get something productive done. Or maybe not!
